Viève Forward is an artist and writer living in Wiltshire, where she enjoys walks on the Downs and in the Cotswolds. She is interested in archaeology, especially that of the prehistoric burial chambers of England and France, and has crossed France three times on a bicycle photographing hidden dolmens. A skilled portrait artist, she is fascinated by the faces of the socially excluded – for example, the homeless, the alcoholic, those with mental health problems.
