Born in Greater Manchester, England in 1976, I moved to Stoke-On-Trent in the upper Midlands aged 11, where I continue to live. I developed a chief interest in the occult, paranormal, surrealism, Horror and Sci-fi/Dark Fantasy, which have heavily influenced my writing’s contents, both fictional and factual. I enjoy writing both free verse and metrical poetry with an emphasis on twisted surreal and original imagery and language. I have posted various poems under various aliases on the internet, more chiefly as my adopted alias “Shadow Rapture”, or the “Magic Hatter” http://www.darkpoetry.com/dp/13180 since the beginning of last year. I have yet to have any experience with publishing with small press/magazines, but I’m hoping I can spread my writing and work to larger audiences as I continue to explore the darker realms of my imagination.
