Andrew Hook

Andrew has been active in the independent press for well over ten years with numerous stories published in a variety of magazines and anthologies. In November 2002 he started Elastic Press publishing single-author short story collections, a venture which is already receiving much acclaim and interest.

Man Was In The Forest was originally published within The Virtual Menagerie, the inaugural anthology of Andrew's stories from that imprint. For more information visit the Elastic website: www.elasticpress.com

Praise for The Virtual Menagerie:

A strong collection - Nicholas Royle - Time Out

The best stories here are among the finest that the independent press has to offer - Peter Tennant - The Third Alternative

Enigmatic, dark, occasionally amusing, occasionally sad, quite often infuriating, but always classy. ‘The Virtual Menagerie’ is highly recommended - Dave Price

A classy production and well worth a fiver of any slipstreamer's cash - Allen Ashley - Prism

Andrew's novel, Moon Beaver, is scheduled for publication in 2004 from www.encpress.com
